In its most upstream part, this itinerary allows you to reach the CAI path 701 for Lake Verdarolo and the ridge hiking network.
A panoramic point par excellence is also the top of Bastia Mount (1206 m a.s.l.) which could be reached after just 900 meters from the start and from which it is possible to admire the profile of the Tuscan-Emilian ridge, the Succiso Alp, the Colla Pass and, thanks to the aid of binoculars, also Marmagna Mount (1852 m a.s.l.), unmistakable for the cross placed at its top.
"Maestà" (votive marble tiles) built by believers could be discovered: once places of prayer and shelter for travelers, today they are excellent pretexts to enjoy moments of rest surrounded by unspoiled nature.
Along this ring it is also possible to see La Maestà di San Rocco, recently restored, located at the exact point where popular legend believes that the saint, in 1361, stopped the spread of the plague, saving the hamlet of Rigoso.

This path is part of a project, born from the collaboration between "il Crinale di Rigoso e Aneta" Association and the Parchi del Ducato Authority, dedicated to all people who wish to stroll between history and nature.
"The Rigoso and Aneta Paths", traced on the old public roads that once connected the Corti di Monchio, are all easy to travel and therefore suitable for families.
