A green corner of the Apennines, between Albareto and Borgotaro (PR). Pastures and woods of oaks, stone houses and paths marked by animals' traces. The Reserve is the ideal place for schools and teachers who are willing to discover biodiversity, from flowers to big trees, from insects like butterflies to the "big" predator like the wolf.
But the Reserve offers much more: it is the laboratory where you could assess the effects of climate change and where you could understand that soil is life and must be treated with respect, that some near natural landscapes need our care and that history and culture have shaped (not without contradictions) a unique landscape!
Discover our educational proposal in the Riserva dei Ghirardi, choosing from:
Priority proposals, on climate changes and soil consumption, free of charge for the schools of the municipalities (**) within the Parks and the Reserves, until the budget available lasts.
Special projects, at a reduced cost, on ecology and resources' sustainable management, history and culture of the territory and care of common goods.
Standard proposals, specific to each protected area and described below.
