The Park in action
Not having grapes due to altitude and economic hardships, until the 1950s it was common in all the high Emilian valleys to produce "al ven e pom", or "Apple wine", the Cider.
Cider is an alcoholic beverage of ancient origin, obtained from the fermentation of apples. This drink is widespread in northern Europe: United Kingdom, France (especially in Brittany and Normandy), in the Asturias region in Spain, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands. In Italy it is less known, even if it has been a very produced drink.
