The Park in action
It is the most fascinating part of the wood in the Park: a high forest consisting of beech trees that were taken from our Apennine and transplanted here by Maria Luigia in 1828.
The high trunks and the wonderful blossoming convey to us the image of an ancient forest. Its name comes from the presence of the Maria Amalia Cave: a country bath built by the duchess in the late 1700. The ruins are still visible.
